Kitty lovin’
I’ve been reading a lot about how to get babies and cats to coexist successfully. Ben and I will have to deal with four cats — not just one — which makes me worry. Will they be jealous? Will they be aggressive? Will the presence of a baby cause them too much distress? We’ll have to exercise prudence, no doubt.
But a funny thing happened the other night with our cat Sidney. And the moment was so cute and endearing it helped me believe that maybe, just maybe, the kitties will coexist just fine with our little boy.

May 20, 10 at 11:24 amAwwww. Ripley used to sit ON TOP of my belly when I was pregnant with Sean. Then he’d kick her and send her scrambling for the other room.
Good times. Your kitties will be OK. They might go into hiding for a little bit and will likely give him a wide berth when they are around, but eventually they’ll relax around him.
