Worst Chocolate Ever!
My chocolate taste buds got bombed! A couple of weeks ago, I had the displeasure of trying Green & Black’s Organic Dark Chocolate with Whole Cherries and Lindt’s Excellence Chili Dark Chocolate bars. I strongly advise against eating them — unless you are interested in winning a face-contortion contest.
Here is the breakdown:
- Green & Black’s Organic Dark Chocolate with Whole Cherries — The cherries are so freaking sour you can’t even taste the chocolate nor finish one bite. If you are a sour freak then this is your chocolate bar. Otherwise, this the perfect gift for someone you don’t like.
- Lindt’s Excellence Chili Dark Chocolate — Starting off, this tastes like good chocolate, and you begin to wonder where the chili taste is. Then, after all of the chocolate has been chewed and swallowed, a little chili fire starts to heat up your mouth. And that fire sensation is hard to get rid of. I actually love spicy food, but I hate the sensation of hot dirt that this product left in my mouth. I tried to eat more of this chocolate bar and just couldn’t make it. If you like having chocolate dragon breath and enjoy a dry palate, then this chocolate bar is a winner.

Jun 2, 09 at 11:55 amI think that Lindt Chili Dark Chocolate is not bad. I was given one for my birthday and was affraid it’s a piece of junk – chocolate and chili? But I was positively suprised and Lindt Chili tastes well IMO.
Worst chocolate bar ever? I have no idea, but best are Milka and Lindt bought in Germany. In Poland where I live same chocolate bars are worse in taste than German ones. But Germany is famous of having great products.

Jun 2, 09 at 12:01 pmSorry for “comment under comment”, but I forgot to say that the best of the best chocolate is not sold in shops. Best chocolate I have eaten ever is sold in special chocolateries (in Poland we have them too). Their chocolate is very expensive, but sibilant. I always buy 6 pieces and feel it’s enough
Yummmmm!
